Combining the classic traditions of French fashion and the design culture of Scandinavia, Cecilie Bahnsen and her eponymous imprint are looking to extend their impressive partnership with ASICS. Having previously worked on the GEL-NIMBUS 9 and a duo of GT-2160s, the Danish designer is now teasing her upcoming collaboration, with the model showcased for Spring/Summer 2024 during Paris Fashion Week.

Belonging to the ‘We Are Water’ collection, models were spotted walking the runway in a customised ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 7 emblazoned with miniature black flowers. A LVMH Prize finalist, it’s not the first time Cecilie Bahnsen has planted floral motifs on the ASICS catalogue, as the Copenhagen creative added flowering appliqués to the GEL-NIMBUS 9 using leftover fabric and beads from her studio.

‘Finding harmony between intricate couture detailing and hyper-feminine embellishments with ASICS’ technical and functional universe is an exciting design challenge that we welcome with each collaboration,’ Bahnsen recently reflected.

You’ll have to hang tight for these, however, as the sneakers are expected to drop in 2024.
