Belonging to the ‘We Are Water’ collection, models were spotted walking the runway in a customised ASICS emblazoned with miniature black flowers. A LVMH Prize finalist, it’s not the first time Cecilie Bahnsen has planted floral motifs on the ASICS catalogue, as the Copenhagen creative added flowering appliqués to the GEL-NIMBUS 9 using leftover fabric and beads from her studio.
‘Finding harmony between intricate couture detailing and hyper-feminine embellishments with ASICS’ technical and functional universe is an exciting design challenge that we welcome with each collaboration,’ Bahnsen recently reflected.
