Casablanca and New Balance Reveal the 327 ‘Red Monogram’
At this point, it’s clear that the New Balance 327 and Casablanca are pretty tight. Not only did the retro-tinged silhouette debut via a collaboration with the French brand, the duo have also since reunited on two more – the most recent of which was a ‘Monogram’ make-up that launched back in February.
Now, they’re revealing a follow-up: the Casablanca x New Balance 327 ‘Red Monogram’.
Casablanca’s Art Director, Steve Grimes, teased the shoes back in December, but the official reveal gives us a proper look at the new release. Leaving behind ‘Blanca’s signature powdery pastels, the newbie NBs go flashy with jewel-toned green and ruby across the monogrammed mudguard and heel. The same hues hit the layered ‘N’ logo and outsole, while the familiar white perforated leather is also carried over from the shoes’ predecessor.
Judging by Grimes’ cheeky leak, these may be joined by a 237 draped in the same finery, so keep an eye out.
We’ll do the same for release details, and will let you know when to expect the drop.
