C-90: Side B Exhibition
C-90: Side B is an exhibition by Australian artist and curator Mark Drew featuring large scale hand painted illustrations of cassette tape spines. After the success of the original C90 shows in Sydney and Melbourne last year, Drew has rewound the tape to produce another series of works inspired by hand-illustrated mix-tapes from days of yore... back when when our relationship to music was perhaps a little more personal than it is in today's world of ephemeral MP3 freebies. C-90: Side B is going down at Sydney’s 72 Erskine Gallery on August 31st. It will be Drew’s last local show before popping off to Japan to live for a while.
