Brisbane Swap & Cop Pics!
Brisbane sneakerheads decided to hold their annual Swap & Cop event dead in the middle of winter last week! Lucky for some... Taking place in the gardens opposite the Conrad Treasury Casino, the set-up consisted of 50 stalls of varied product, most of which were sneakers. There were also artists displaying their artwork, racks of clothing to cop plus a handful of novelty type stalls such as ‘Happy High Herbs' - which everyone got a good laugh out including the stall holders themselves (if you know what I mean). Local retailers such as , and (to name a few), made up some of the booths, displaying future releases and showing off their collections. Also on show were local graff artists who threw down some live art shows to complement the crew of Brissy breakdancers that kept everyone entertained. Numbers looked like upwards of 1500 people throughout the day. Shout outs go to Chris Kelly, Taz, Iyan from Jumbo, all the retailers and industry people that supported and all the sponsors who helped out. Much props to all the crew in Brisbane. All the other major cities in Australia now have a benchmark to follow!
