Big Baller Brand Launch ‘Luxury’ Sneakers for $695-$895

Big Baller Brand LaVar Ball

Big Baller Brand (BBB) are certainly no strangers to the headlines. Led by their freewheeling frontman Lavar Ball, the brand has been embroiled in controversy since its inception. Once referred to as ‘the Kardashians of the NBA’, the Ball family and their BBB imprint have been hamstrung by FBI investigations, $3 million dollar lawsuits, and even an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Still, LaVar Ball and the BBB refuse to yield, a fact reinforced by their latest madcap ‘luxury’ sneaker offering.

No longer legally able to produce signature shoes for sons Lonzo or LaMelo (both sons are now signed with Nike and Puma respectively), Lavar has now turned his attention to luxury lifestyle sneakers.

‘Designed and inspired by LiAngelo Ball’, the four renditions are priced between $695 and $895, an outrageous price tag reflective of BBB’s initial foray into the market with the ZO2s (the ZO2s hit the market in 2017 for $495. Of course when asked about the price point, LaVar quipped, ‘I like the way it sounds’).

Reportedly manufactured in Italian leather and featuring a classic tennis shoe silhouette, the highest priced sneaker features the words ‘I told you so’ emblazoned on the lateral sides.

Once again, LaVar’s timing is impeccable. Today, LaMelo and Puma officially unveiled their first signature shoe, the MB.01.

All four renditions of Big Baller Brand’s luxury shoes are available via the brand’s website.
