Reports are coming in that customers who paid for the premium ZO2 release - the 'Wet' version - didn’t get what they paid for. The release, replete with a signed toe box and special display case, was pitched as a tier above the regular drop of Lonzo Ball’s signature — oh, and $500 more expensive than the regular release.
As Big Baller Brand put it:
Each pair of ZO2: Wets will be personally autographed by Lonzo Ball, and come within a clear acrylic enclosure with cool white LED lighting.
Each pair shall include a Certificate of Authenticity and tamper-evident hologram provided by Big Baller Brand, guaranteed by Big Baller Brand. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of basketball history.
However, according to some buyers, the ZO2s are more of a wet blanket. Wear Testerstell that some punters didn’t receive the display case. Instead, the sneakers came with the regular box available when paying half the price.
Though the release seems suss, Big Baller Brand have been made aware of the error and have contacted one of Wear Tester’s sources to assure them the display case is on its way.
