Bff Calling For Volunteers
is looking for volunteers to undertake a variety of activities during the 2008 BFF. The 2008 Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) uses a cultural platform to celebrate the bicycle in its many shapes and forms. The festivalʼs mission is to promote the role of the bicycle in society through film, music and art made by, for and about cyclists. Ultimately, the festival is about having a good time, on two wheels or two feet. The festival dates are from the 19th – 23rd November 2008 and volunteers are required to attend the Launch Party on 21st October 2008. This is a great opportunity for Event Management students as well as those interested in forming a career in the Film or Events Industries to broaden your CV, develop your networking skills and be involved in an interesting, creative and exciting event that is held all over the world. Roles include:
• Ushering
• Box Office
• Bicycle Valet Parking
• Bar work
• Bussing
• Merchandise Sales
• Front of House
They are also seeking a small number of production specific volunteers that will work on:
• Venue bump in / bump out
• Transportation
• Heavy Lifting and set up
• Production Management
The Bicycle Film Festival requires
Minimum 4- hour / Maximum 7 hour shifts
Minimum 21-hour commitment

To express interest in Volunteering at the 2008 Bicycle Film Festival, please forward your CV to with the subject title Volunteer. Please indicate if you hold a RSA and if you are applying for the general or production volunteer positions. Successful applicants will be advised in time to attend the Volunteer introduction and briefing session on Monday 13 October.
