Best Look Yet: The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Elephant'
Nike SB haven't been afraid to experiment with their Dunks in 2020, coming through with quirky colourways inspired by the likes of ‘Doraemon’ and the Grateful Dead. However, we've also been treated to renditions featuring some of the most iconic schemes in the Swoosh canon, such as this Dunk Low featuring the ‘Elephant’ pattern made famous by famed Japanese retailer atmos.
An unmistakable nod to the famed Air Max 1 ‘atmos Elephant’, which originally released in 2007 (and again in 2017), this Nike SB Dunk Low features essentially the same scheme. The toe box is white, while black features on the side panel and inner lining. The defining feature, however, is the ‘Elephant’ print overlays, which cover the majority of the upper.
Meanwhile, the side Swoosh and tongue tag don a teal hue, just like the AM1 before it. A standard white midsole and black outsole combo completes the ensemble, while a spare pair of grey laces will also be included in the packaging.
Release details are cloudy on this one, with rumours suggesting a drop sometime in November. It’s unclear whether these will be a Japan-exclusive or a wider release, but all signs point to the latter, given recent SB history. We’re sure more will be revealed in the coming weeks.
