Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, custom kings are back at it! They’ve taken to the beloved for their latest project, drawing inspiration from trailblazing artist .
The sample is based on KAWS’ Companion vinyl figures, borrowing the palette and aesthetic from the sought-after Brown edition from 2016. As we’ve come to expect, they’ve built this Air Jordan 3 with some of the most premium leathers, suedes and skins available. The upper makes use of lush calf suedes, alongside a stunning combination of leathers - deer skin, lamb skin and kangaroo, just to name a few.
An earthy mixture of brown and tan shades dresses the sneaker, offset with gold lace loops for a touch of elegance. Additionally, the tongue is embroidered with KAWS’ ‘XX’ eyes logo, while the rear features an intricately stitched Companion head. It’s all in the details!
