BAPE Announce Clarks Originals Colab!

Japan’s A Bathing Ape In Lukewarm Water, better known as BAPE, have taken to Instagram to announce a new collaboration with casual kings and moccasin mavens, Clarks Originals.

For the seasoned sneakerhead, the irony is not lost, because in earlier years, BAPE were producing shoes that conspicuously resembled Clarks classics like the Desert Boot, Desert Trek, and Wallabee.

While the exact shoes are yet to be announced ahead of the August 8 release, signs point towards a potential Desert Boot, as the silhouette celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
