Balmain Link Up With Ant Kai on a Limited-Edition Unicorn Sneaker

French luxury fashion house Balmain pushed the boundaries with their Unicorn sneaker, and as they look to continue their foray into the sneakersphere, they’ve teamed up with Ant Kai for assistance. Known for his incredible custom sneakers, Kai has applied his unique touch to the super-futuristic silhouette, with a release that also includes accompanying AI-fuelled, customisable digital pairs.

Part of the limited-edition colab sees Balmain and Ant Kai release a one-of-a-kind Unicorn sneaker, which will be made available at Balmain’s flagship Atlanta store and at Balmain.com. Featuring a blue and white cloud print, the pairs combine Kai’s unique approach to design with the Unicorn’s future-forward silhouette, which sets up the digital element of the colab perfectly. Building on the physical product, Balmain also further their penchant for digital innovation by also collaborating with Space Runners, who have produced customisable NFTs as part of the project. Here, sneakerheads will be able to customise their digital pairs with a selection of Kai’s artwork through generative AI.

There are only 150 of them available, and the pairs launch today (December 6) through Balmain’s website.
