Besides his musical endeavours and his time as the WWE 24/7 champion, reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny had a hell of a year in 2021 on the footwear front. The Forum Buckle Low, his first collaborative shoe with adidas, was released in three colourways – 'The First Café', 'Easter Egg' and 'Core Black' – and each sold out instantly, with 'The First Café' going on to become one of the most valuable adidas Originals sneakers of the year.
It looks like Bunny and the Trefoil are set to run it back with more Forums in 2022 as well, with the Puerto Rican crooner's childhood friend and creative consultant Janthony Oliveras recently teasing a never-before-seen yellow colourway of the colab on his Instagram. Though the lighting in Oliveras' photos makes it difficult to discern the exact hue of yellow on the shoes, they appear to be a soft pastel tone, in line with the pink pastel used on the above-mentioned 'Easter Egg'.
Besides the new yellow shade, the shoes feature familiar details like double-stacked tongues, a bungee-like pull on the heel and an extra-wide construction. At the time of writing, no release date has been announced, and it's possible that this pair could be a pre-production style or a Friends and Family makeup as well. We'll be sure to bring you more info as soon as it's made available!
