After taking home five awards at the Latin American Music Awards earlier this week, reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny is making waves with a new light blue take on his popular Forum Buckle Low. Bunny's childhood friend, creative consultant and de facto sneaker leaker extraordinaire Janthony Oliveras revealed the new kicks via a single post on his Instagram Stories, marking the first time we've seen a new Forum Buckle Low colourway since a white pair appeared in January.
The partnership between Bunny and adidas has been focused on other silhouettes like the hybrid Forum PWR and a 'melted' take on the Response CL as of late, but his sizable fanbase still holds a special place in their hearts for the Forum Buckle Low. The pair shown off by Oliveras is swathed in sky blue shades atop its leather-and-suede upper, making for a tonal contrast that was also employed on its previous 'The First Café' and 'Easter Egg' colourways. Rumours of another Forum dropping this Easter had been swirling (maybe it was supposed to be this pair?) but the holiday came and went without a release, leaving the next drop up in the air.
At the time of writing, there's no telling if this blue Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low will see a retail release, if it's a friends-and-family style or if it's just a sample. However, we'll be sure to update you if more information surfaces!
