atmos Have a Rodent-Inspired New Balance 2002R Colab on the Way
Usually, spotting a mouse is cause for alarm – but ' recently-exposed colab with is an exception! Revealed by New Balance collector , the atmos x New Balance 2002R combines a classic NB palette with just enough rodent-centric details to make a statement.
Appearing just ahead of the global release, this 2002R offers up an appealing mix of textures and colours. Various shades of grey and silver mesh, suede, pony hair and leather are present, but the pièce de résistance is on the midfoot: a rich slate suede with debossed 'rat tracks', providing a dark contrast to the rest of the upper's details. The midfoot N logo is dark navy, and a light blue appears on the heel's N-ergy cushioning setup. If you look inside the collar, you can even find the rat responsible for the tracks on the inside – it's nested on the insole!
No release date or official information for this atmos (or should we say 'Ratmos') x New Balance 2002R has been announced yet. It is worth noting that atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima liked the post that revealed it, a tangental confirmation of sorts that it should indeed see a release!
