GEL in Motion: ASICS Power Through Q1 With Double-Digit Growth

have hit the ground running in 2025, clocking an 18 per cent revenue boost across its EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) for Q1. This follows a record-breaking 2024, wherein ASICS EMEA surpassed €1 billion in annual revenue for the first time, achieving a 13 per cent operating income margin.

The brand's SportStyle category led the charge in this first quarter, with a remarkable 47.7 per cent year-over-year growth, reflecting the snowballing consumer appetite for ASICS' lifestyle offerings. Apparel also saw a significant uptick, increasing by 34.5 per cent, as the fusion of performance technology and everyday wear continues to resonate with consumers.

Regionally, North West Europe experienced a substantial 28.7 per cent growth, while France and North East Europe also reported strong double-digit increases. Both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels contributed to this upward trend, indicating a robust and diversified retail strategy.

ASICS' dominance in the premium performance running market remains unchallenged, bolstered by innovations in GEL cushioning technology. Additionally, the brand is expanding its footprint in Tennis, Indoor, and Padel sports, catering to a broader athletic audience.

Reflecting on the company's performance, Carsten Unbehaun, CEO of ASICS EMEA, stated: ‘Our commitment to innovation and purpose is clearly resonating. We continue to receive outstanding feedback from consumers, athletes, and experts.’

Backed by a record-smashing 2024 and already firing on all cylinders in 2025, ASICS are showing no signs of slackening the pace.
