The ASICS GEL-Quantum Kinetic Exudes Kiko Vibes

ASICS’ Sportstyle catalogue has grown to new heights over the past few years, tapping niche collaborators to help curate a fresh selection of releases. Arguably the most successful partnership has been with Kiko Kostadinov. The Bulgarian designer joined the roster in 2018 and since then, the duo have worked on countless collaborative releases, and recently announced a new luxury line together dubbed NOVALIS. Next up for ASICS Sportstyle is the GEL-Quantum Kinetic, and while it isn’t officially a Kiko colab, it definitely could pass as one!

As the name suggests, the GEL-Quantum Kinetic boasts a full-length Quantum midsole that’s been pulled from Kostadinov’s 2021 Levitrack model. The upper takes inspiration from a variety of the brand’s past Kinetic model and hosts their signature synthetic fabric and mesh build. Interestingly, ASICS are yet to officially unveil the new GR silhouette, but pairs have quietly surfaced at retailers.
