A$AP Rocky Teases Potential Prada x adidas Forum Low
Certified ‘Fashion Killa’, A$AP Rocky, has broken his Instagram silence with a new post featuring a series of images depicting what appears to be a new collaboration between Prada and adidas on the Forum Low. And, in the style of their previous efforts, it’s looking like a low-key affair.
The Forum has been a particular focus for the Three Stripes recently, as the retro basketball shoe has been reinterpreted as a collaborative favourite, especially with musicians. On the other hand, Prada have worked with adidas a number of times in the past, including a luxurious (albeit extremely understated) take on the Superstar for its 50th anniversary.
This time around, Prada have taken a similar approach on the Forum as they did with the Shelltoe. Plain white leather – presumably of a luxurious variety – drapes the uppers, which are matched to rubber soles. And instead of an ankle strap as per usual, a small Prada-badged zippered stash pouch is attached over the laces.
While nothing official can be gleaned from this first look, Rocky’s accompanying ‘PRA-DI-DAS?’ caption, plus a comment section filled with adidas associates including Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo, seems to suggest there is definitely something in the works again. Stay tuned for more news as they come.
