Artist Uses Jordan 1s To Paint MJ's Portrait
Talk about going hard in the paint, some crazy blogger over on the ‘Gram has swapped out his bristled brush in favour of an Air Jordan 1. Generally we don’t condone the wanton destruction of a perfectly good pair of shoes, but in this case we’re going to let it slide. Using the shoe’s various contours to produce gradients and textures, this free-thinking artist has realised the likeness of MJ from the very shoe he created – a nice little circle of creativity. It’s always refreshing when someone steps outside of the norm on a quest for expression, so we’re giving this one full points for originality.
Head over to GC11’s Instagram to check out the video of the piece being painted.
