Anonymous Donor Gifts An Entire School With Free Sneakers Sneaker Freaker 1

Christmas came early for the students of North Carolina's Overton Elementary School. During a special Monday afternoon assembly, each student was surprised with a fresh pair of  runners.

The school recently implemented the Healthy Rowan Daily Mile program, which requires staff and students to spend at least 15 minutes a day walking or running. However, with 70 per cent of students living on the poverty line, the condition of many of the children’s shoes inspired an anonymous benefactor, with the help of local store Ralph Baker Shoes, to gift the school running shoes.
