Aminé Debuts Collaboration on the New Balance ABZORB 2000

Since signing as a brand ambassador with in 2022, Aminé has been quite active in his role – starring in campaigns such as spot for their project, and this year as a part of Boston brand’s rollout. He’s been busy with work of his own as well, boasting a trio of colabs with New Balance. In a recent video billboard, he has also called out performance-motivated actions and aura farming, while hinting at a new upcoming project.

The video playfully calls out café ‘bookworms’ and 'matcha drinkers’ while bringing attention to his latest campaign with New Balance, which is highlighted by a book drive in Portland, Oregon. The book drive is currently underway and supports a local library just in time for kids' return to school. Subtly present in the clip appears to be a new footwear project between Aminé and New Balance. Though hidden underneath his baggy pants, we spotted a bright-green pair of .

The ABZORB 2000 debuted this year and have been a smash hit – the few general release colourways that have landed on shelves so far, have not been there long. Each have sold out quickly. This continues the trend of New Balance successfully introducing a new model without a collaborative effort to kick it off. If the rumours are true, this Aminé x New Balance ABZORB 2000 will be the first collaboration on the model – with the exception of the highly limited and Paris-exclusive Stay tuned to Sneaker Freaker for all the updates.
