Another thing May is renowned for is her storytelling, which has undoubtedly become synonymous with her collaborations. Now May is bringing the same energy to her next project, this time with the launch of her own unisex apparel line, Mayde Worldwide. So far the brand has dropped a modest capsule of tops and bottoms, including an bra style top, a ribbed tank, a pair of bike shorts, trackpants and hoodies. The whole collection comes complete in tonal cobalt blue, a nod to LA.
On the brand, May said, 'As a consumer, I’m always looking for options to blend with my daily looks and designer collectibles. As a designer, I’m recognizing that certain cuts on garments don’t exist yet,” May said in a news release. “As a stylist, I work with artists that are on the go, constantly traveling, and need something to layer or build on. Something quick and comfortable, but has those key details that make them unique. Even behind the scenes as a stylist, I need something to last me through those long days on set.'
