Watch the First Trailer for Ben Affleck's Jordan Movie 'Air'

A first trailer for Ben Affleck’s upcoming Jordan story Air is here.

Air chronicles the saga to sign Michael Jordan to a Nike endorsement deal in 1984, a move that irreversibly changed the footwear and sports industries.

Although Jordan himself will not be portrayed in the film, Air features Ben Affleck as Nike founder Phil Knight, Matt Damon as the man who signed Jordan to Nike, Sonny Vaccaro, and Viola Davis as Michael Jordan‘s mother, Deloris.

The movie will be told through other behind-the-scenes figures like the designer of the Air Jordan I, Peter Moore, who is played by Matthew Maher. The film also touches on the rivalry between Nike and its more established competitor adidas by including Horst Dassler played by Gustaf Skarsgård.

Jason Bateman plays the role of Nike's marketing executive Rob Strasser, while Chris Tucker also joins as Howard White, a junior executive at Nike.
