Air Jordan 6 Flexes GORE-TEX in 'Brown Kelp'
Fall is coming to the Northern Hemisphere, which means the major brands are releasing their weather-appropriate sneakers. Jordan Brand have a stack on the Fall line-up, including the Air Jordan 1 ‘Palomino’ and Air Jordan 1 ‘Praline’. Now, there’s another on the horizon, and this one flexes GORE-TEX to help deal with the colder weather.
The entire base and overlays are all constructed of a smooth ‘Brown Kelp’ that is kept rain resistant with GORE-TEX – making it more hardy than the standard AJ6. The midsole is a mixture of black and cream, with gum hitting the centre. ‘Court Purple’ makes a subtle but striking appearance on the heel tab and GORE-TAX tag, Jumpman logos and insoles. The design comes together with a slightly darker brown used on the laces and tongue that contrasts the ‘Brown Kelp’ upper.
There’s no official word on when the Air Jordan 6 GORE-TEX ‘Brown Kelp’ will release, but there’s a tentative date proposed: November 29. The release will be available in women’s sizing for $250. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates on any official news.
