One of the most coveted Air Jordan 5s of all time, the ‘Green Bean’ colourway was originally introduced to much fanfare in 2006. With uppers entirely constructed with 3M reflective materials (toebox, tongues, collars and overlays), the OG ‘Green Bean’ was a significant departure for the Jordan Brand, who had previously only rendered the tongues in 3M. ‘Green Bean’ accents strike the interior lining, Jumpman logos on the tongues and lace toggles, while charcoal grey brings more depth to the eyestays.
Of course, the Air Jordan 5 ‘Green Bean’ shares all the design hallmarks of Tinker Hatfield’s tour de force, the fighter jet-inspired sneaker featuring jagged shark teeth on the midsoles and towering tongue. Signature translucent icy rubber soles complete the aesthetic.
Look for the Air Jordan 5 ‘Green Bean’ to release in June 2022 at select retailers. The retail price is $200.
In the meantime, make sure to check out why the Air Jordan 5 is still a bad, bad boy.
