We may be in the middle of Jordan Brand's Spring 2022 Air Jordan retro lineup, but Jumpman enthusiasts are always looking ahead, trying to determine what's next. One pair that's set to make its debut later in the year is the Air Jordan 5 'Concord,' a new interpretation of a famous Air Jordan colour scheme.
Revealed by @apolloluo1976, the 'Concord' re-works the familiar palette used on the Air Jordan 11 of the same name. Though taking high-quality photos has never been a strong suit of sneaker leakers, the images above show enough to give us an idea of what to expect – namely that the shoe's main colourblocking scheme follows in the footsteps of the above-mentioned Air Jordan 11, using white leather on the upper and black EVA foam on the midsole. Familiar rich purple 'Concord' accents return as well, gracing the midsole, collar, tongue and heel. Reflective silver tongue detailing and an icy outsole (another 'Concord' staple) round off the look.
You can expect the Air Jordan 5 'Concord' to be released during the back half of 2022. A July arrival has been speculated but has yet to be confirmed. Hopefully the 'Concord' won't be plagued by the same supply chain issues that the oft-delayed Air Jordan 5 'Jade Horizon' was!
