Official Images! Air Jordan 4 ‘Zen Master'

Update May 27, 2022: It's finally coming! After over six months of leaks and rumours, official imagery has touched down of the Air Jordan 4 'Zen Master'. No release date has surfaced as of yet but we suspect a drop in the near future.

Update January 17, 2022: Following an on-foot look via @yankeekicks and potential release date set for March 19, sneakersphere insider @chriscolgan has shared the closest look yet at the Air Jordan 4 'Zen Master'! The Air Jordan 4 has received plenty of love from the Jumpman in 2021, the high-flying silhouette recently arriving in ‘Red Thunder’, ‘Military Blue’ and ‘Wild Things’​.

The AJ4 has also been refuelled by some collaborative nous, Chris Gibbs’ ultra-cool Union LA doing some damage with the hyped ‘Tent and Trail’ pack.

Now, we’re catching wind of an Air Jordan 4 ‘Zen Master’ that’s inspired by the great Phil Jackson. An 11-time NBA champion coach (yes, you read that correctly), Jackson was known as a sagacious leader on and off the court, tapping spiritual traditions from a range of influences, including Buddhism.

The first mock-up is presented in tie-dye, leveraging the psychedelic resurgence dilating pupils across the sneakersphere (bands like the Grateful Dead continue to inspire sartorial and sneaker fits across the globe).

Translucent wings, black netting, and black Jumpman logos are expected to grace the AJ4, while ‘Zen Master’ is emblazoned on the inside tongue.

Look for the Air Jordan 4 ‘Zen Master’ to land in March, 2022.
