Air Jordan 4 ‘Shimmer’ Rumours are Simmering
One of the mainstays in the lineup, the looks like it will continue to be a fixture in 2021, with a ‘Shimmer’ colourway recently joining the rumour mill.
While no actual images of the shoe have surfaced, we do have a mock-up courtesy of zsneakerheadz, and the early look has many drawing comparisons to the . The colour code suggests the colourway will feature a neutral-hued combination of ‘Shimmer’, ‘Bronze Eclipse’, ‘Orange Quartz’, and ‘Metallic Silver’. The upper will be covered in different nude tones, coming through in a slightly different shade to the ‘Sail’ featured on Virgil Abloh’s AJ4 hype machine.
It has also been speculated that the tongue will receive an oversized Jumpman logo, as opposed to the traditional Jumpman patch, adding a welcome change-up for the tried-and-true look. Down below, there will be a white outsole with some nude tones borrowed from the upper.
While this ‘Shimmer’ colourway won’t have all the Off-White embellishments, those with more minimal tastes will no doubt appreciate the cleaner aesthetic – and the wider availability, of course.
No official details have been revealed, but a release date has been rumoured for September 3, 2021.
