Defective ‘Bred Reimagined’ Air Jordan 4 Sells For $17.3K
finally dropped last week after much anticipation. Prior to its February 17 release date, this modern remix of the classic OG black and red colourway received a shock drop on February 5 via the SNKRS app.
Those who were lucky enough to cop this silhouette are starting to receive their orders; however, some are unfortunately getting defective pairs. One customer snapped an image of the defect, which features the right pair's Jumpman patch stitched on the tongue tab upside down. From the comment section of @thehypeleaks' post, someone else claimed that their sole had 'glue splotches' around it.
Nike and Jordan Brand have been under fire for their less-than-perfect quality control for the past few years, with defects like the pink soles on the AJ6 'Carmine' in 2021 throwing gasoline on the flames. In 2023, the arrived to people with off-centre panels, as well as sub-standard elephant print and scuffed paint. Also last year, someone received the with a whole Swoosh missing from the side (also not a rare occurrence).
Jordan Brand have not acknowledged these defects as of writing. Stay tuned while we wait for more updates.
