Up Close with the Air Jordan 4 'Black Canvas'
Since the sneaker community first laid eyes on the Air Jordan 4 'Black Canvas' back in January, anticipation for its arrival has been high. Apart from it being a durable, easy-to-wear style, it's got Jordan Brand fans excited because it bears many a similarity to the Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan 4 from 2015, an ultra-rare pair that was made for a charity auction on eBay and now sells for five figures on aftermarket sites! Now, we've got our best look yet at the 'Black Canvas' thanks to the folks at @prvt.selection.
As you probably deduced from its name, this Air Jordan 4's upper is made of (wait for it) ... black canvas, with some material contrast provided by a smooth black nubuck mudguard. Most of the accents are done up in a 'Shadow'-like grey, a departure from the metallic silver shades used on Eminem and Carhartt's colab, while ever-so-small touches of red can be seen on both the tongue tag's 'Flight' hit and the insole branding.
We're still without a release date for the Air Jordan 4 'Black Canvas,' but you can expect it to drop later this year – potentially alongside a long-rumoured Air Jordan 4 'Olive Canvas.' The MSRP will be set at $200.
