Update September 5, 2022: It’s finally arrived! The Air Jordan 3 ‘Fire Red’ will receive its highly anticipated wide release on September 10, following last month’s Asia drop. Peep our Where to Buy guide below.

It was back in February when rumours started alleging that the Air Jordan 3 ‘Fire Red’ was receiving a 2022 retro. The juiciest tidbit was that Nike Air branding was returning on the heel, which meant that it would be the first time this OG colourway would retro in period-correct specs! Now we know after almost six months of leaks and teasers that the ‘Fire Red’ is making a return, and select countries will drop their pairs early.

Nike Air branding on the heel of the Air Jordan 3 is important, as it replicates the OGs that first released back in 1988. Interestingly, the ‘Fire Red’ is one of the only original AJ3s yet to receive the Swoosh branding treatment, as the ‘Black Cement, ‘White Cement’ and ‘True Blue’ have all been blessed with correct heel branding. The remainder of the shoe sticks true to its predecessor, boasting a full-white leather upper, grey elephant print overlays and red accents.

The Air Jordan 3 ‘Fire Red’ was previously reported to arrive on September 10, but that’s just the US release date. Retailers across Asia will actually hold their rollout this weekend! Peep all the retailers below in our Where to Buy guide and stay locked to this article, as we’ll keep it updated as more regions announce their plans.
