The Air Jordan 2 Low ‘Responsibility’ Appears to Feature Suede Midsoles
The Air Jordan 2 train hasn’t stopped running after the imminent hype of the Off-White and Union collaborations, as new leaks have surfaced of a new colourway nicknamed ‘Responsibility’. With this level of detail on offer, perhaps it’s a compelling example for AJ2 haters to change their mind on the divisive model…
Revealed by the appropriately named @leaked.sneaks, this low-cut sneaker takes on a predominately black colourway on the upper, but it draws on some interesting design elements. The rear quarter is accented by a grey textile panel that resembles the brand’s iconic ‘elephant print’, which is best known from the Air Jordan 3 successor. But perhaps most interesting is the tan coloured midsole that’s been coated in suede – a first for the model. Other quirks include quilted lining and textile-covered insoles, meaning this is likely more of a lifestyle shoe than a performance baller.
As for the ‘Responsibility’ nickname, that’s derived from the insole patch, which reads:
‘Jordan presents Responsibility / wear your shoes / show the world where you’ve been / peace – love – respect’
It’ll be interesting to see what Jordan Brand officially say about this shoe. Expect more leaks to come in the near future, and stay tuned for release details.
