Two New Air Jordan 12 Low Golf Colourways Revealed!
Jordan Brand have expanded their golf offerings greatly in 2022 with everything from a new ADG 4 shoe to golf-ified takes on classic Air Jordans like the Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 12 Low. It's the latter of those Air Jordans that's in the spotlight today, thanks to @golfheadz and @jjborecky6's reveal of two fresh colourways.
Each pair looks like a standard low-cut version of Michael Jordan's 12th signature sneaker up top. Down below, however, both supply a golf-specific traction pattern and a set of seven removable spikes: five on the forefoot and two on the heel. The first pair, a blue and white style, boasts rich Mark Smith-esque laser detailing on its mudguard, and the latter pair is done up in white, brown and gold. Both feature a special heel tab that says 'For the love or 18,' a nod to the 18 holes on a championship golf course.
We're currently awaiting news regarding the exact dates of release for this duo of PEs, but the comments on the @golfheadz post say that these pairs are NRG releases created for the PGA Tour's major events this year – and that we'll be seeing more OG Air Jordan 12 colourways repurposed as golf shoes after the Air Jordan 12 'Taxi' got a links-ready makeover earlier in the year.
