Check Out This Unreleased Air Jordan 10 ‘Charlotte Bobcats’ Alternate Sample

The Charlotte Hornets NBA team was known as the Charlotte Bobcats between 2004 and 2014. During that period, Jordan Brand created a limited edition Air Jordan 10 commemorating the Michael Jordan-owned franchise. Pictured above is an alternate sample that never released, making it a relatively rare pair of Airs.

As shared by perpetual heat hunters @englishsole, these AJ10s differ quite a bit from the retail version. This edition uses much more white leather on its upper, which is met by shades of blue on the eyestays and ankle collar. There are also hits of orange on the laces and outsole. Other interesting material inclusions can be observed via the patent leather mudguard and open mesh lining. The most remarkable detail of all is the number 23 embroidered into the lateral ankle – a nod to MJ’s PE pairs (though he was rocking #45 at the time).
