The legendary ‘Hare’ colourway has been a part of the Air Jordan line since 1992, when Bugs Bunny teamed up with Michael Jordan to promote the new AJ7. It’s since emerged on other models in the assortment, and 30 years later, it appears once more on the updated Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT.
This in itself is a tech update of the AJ1 ‘Hare’ from 2015, which coincided with the campaign’s 23rd anniversary. The AJ1 Zoom CMFT replaces the namesake Air tech with newer Zoom Air, resulting in a more responsive cushioning system that daresay can be used on court. Completing the CMFT part of the equation is plusher padding in the lining, which is evident on the exposed seam of the ankle collar and tongue.,
Otherwise, the colourway stays true to the ‘Hare’ combo of white leather, grey suede inserts and red trim throughout. Green is added into the geometric pattern atop the tongue, in direct reference to the AJ7’s original execution. The outsole also introduces an additional contrast with the red border and dark purple inner section.
Expect the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT ‘Hare’ to hit retailers later this year to coincide with the colourway’s latest milestone.
