Air Jordan 1 Mid Inside-Out

As the old saying goes, it's what's on the inside that counts. Jordan Brand's latest Air Jordan 1 Mid seems to have taken that adage to heart, as it's been turned completely inside-out! Offering a natural colour scheme and plenty of revealing details, the mid-cut Air Jordan 1 is just as much a footwear design lesson as it is a wearable sneaker, one that gives you a look at what's going on in the inner half of your shoes.

Quarter panels and mudguards are made of a soft white textile, with the rest of the upper taking on suede, leather, or exposed foam in the case of the collar. Toeboxes are raised and heels are sunken, with the latter providing one of the design's most interesting details: an Air Jordan 1 Low 'Neutral Grey'-style tab. There are also touches of orange to be found on the Swoosh, thanks to the stitches holding it in place. Though its colours and overall build may be very different, the shoe's inside-out construction calls to mind the flipped nature of Virgil Abloh's famous Off-White x Nike Presto from 'The Ten' in 2017, a shoe that itself had been turned inside out.

At the time of writing, a release date has yet to be set. However, you can expect this Air Jordan 1 mid to arrive at retailers in the coming weeks.
