If there are two hobbies Michael Jordan loves, they're golf and cheering on his alma mater's sports teams. Purposefully or unintentionally, both of those things have been brought together on Jordan Brand's latest Air Jordan 1 Low Golf, a 'University Blue' colourway.

Dripping in UNC Tar Heel pride, the 'University Blue' borrows the colour scheme of the OG Air Jordan 1 'Powder Blue', but opts for a low-top cut and an extra-grippy outsole that's designed for play in all conditions and replaces the standard 'Air' hit found on Air Jordan 1 outsoles with a hybrid 'Golf' embellishment.

Jordan Brand are definitely familiar with using OG colourways to enhance the flavour of their golf products. Just last month, they introduced the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf in four (fore?) familiar colourways – 'Chicago', 'Shadow', a Dior-esque 'Wolf Grey' and 'Triple White' – and all the way back in 2017, the original Air Jordan 1 'Chicago' was used as a base for a high-top golf sneaker. That's not to mention all the golf-ready Air Jordan 4s, Air Jordan 5 Lows and Air Jordan 11 Lows we've seen since then!

Though an official release date has yet to be revealed, you can expect this UNC-themed Air Jordan 1 Low Golf to release via the Nike web store and select golf retailers in the coming weeks. It'll be priced at $140.
