Official Images: Air Jordan 1 Low Golf ‘Shattered Backboard’
A modern classic in the Jumpman canon, the ‘Shattered Backboard’ colourway was originally inspired by an exhibition game in Italy, where Michael Jordan dunked so hard that he shattered the backboard – and lodged glass in the sneaker!
Immortalised in 2015 with the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’, the colourway has since become one of the most beloved in the Jordan Brand catalogue, with a series of black, orange and white renditions arriving in women’s-exclusive satin, reverse GR releases, and last year emblazoned on the Air Jordan 5.
Now, sneakerheads are receiving a golf rendition perfect for the green, the colourblocking paying homage to the 2015 OG panel for panel – although the tumbled leather this time looks a lot more pronounced.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf ‘Shattered Backboard’ to arrive over the coming months.
The Jordan Brand continue to expand their foray onto the golf course with OG colourways like the ‘UNC’ and ‘Shadow’. Make sure to check out all the coolest Jordan Brand crossovers ever!
