First Look at the Made in Italy Air Jordan 1 ‘85 ‘Wings’ Collection
While rising Jordan prices and have been the talk of the town recently, sneakerheads better brace themselves for the price tags associated with this upcoming collection. A first look at the Air Jordan 1 ‘85 ‘Wings’ collection has recently been revealed, and you might just have to dip into your savings if you’re thinking of copping a pair.
To give you some idea of the attached price tag, the upcoming Wings collection has been made in Italy, something we also saw with the Dior colab from 2020. However, unlike the Dior pairs, any colour blocking or details have been kept to a minimum, simply letting the materials speak for themselves. Instead, these ultra-premium pairs feature subtle tonal takes.
The Air Jordan 1 ‘85 High ‘Phantom’ comes dressed in an off-white tone, while hints of tan peek through as a reminder of the luxury leather construction underneath. The two Low silhouettes boast white uppers – one follows suit with glimpses of tan, while the other features a navy Swoosh. Each of the pairs is finished with gum outsoles and Made in Italy tongue tabs. They’re also expected to come in special edition packaging.
As it stands, Jordan Brand are still yet to confirm a release date and the pricing for the Wings collection, but the AJ1 High is expected to come in at $975, while the Low tracks at $875. As always, stay locked to Sneaker Freaker as more info comes in.
