The and have found new life thanks to over the past few years, which has trickled down to in-line colourways continuing to fly off shelves as well. And it looks like the collaborative partnership between Teddy Santis’ label and isn’t stopping anytime soon – a new colourway of the NB 650 is expected to drop later this year (which will make Tar Heel fans happy).
UNC vibes are strong on the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x NB 650, as white and Carolina Blue are present throughout. The NB 650 is typically seen in an all-leather build, but this time, it opts for mesh panelling seen on the ankle collar, N logo, and tongue with tumbled leather featured on the rest of the upper. Carolina Blue trim is seen throughout the sneaker, with ALD and NB co-branding seen on the tongue tags and debossed on the heel. The white midsole features more New Balance branding, and a gum outsole puts the finishing touch on the sneaker.
