Afew X Heimplanet Future Koi Capsule Collection
We saw a lot of amazing releases in 2015 for the silhouette's 25th anniversary. Foot Patrol brought us the military-inspired '', Concepts dabbled into political turbulence with their '' design and Packer Shoes paid homage to the store's own rich history with their '' release – each and every one a must have for your collection. However, the greatest of all the 25th anniversary make-ups was 's ', released on Japan Day 2015 – well, at least as far as this writer's opinion is concerned!
For Japan Day in 2016, Afew are following up their Gel Lyte III with the 'Future Koi' capsule collection. Created in partnership with premium German outdoor-wear brand Heimplanet, the apparel collection includes a backpack, T-shirt and five-panel cap, which embrace a 'Koi Camouflage' print created by Dutch artist and inspired by the original Koi design. The backpack is our choice pick from the collection. Constructed from a mix of suede and ballistic nylon, this heavy-duty piece of kit can be worn as either a backpack and messenger bag.
