adidas and Yeezy Are Partnering Up Again

‘You ain’t get the memo? Yeezy’s back in style.’ The rumours are true: Ye and adidas are partnering up again.

Since Ye and adidas parted ways, rumours of the two parties joining up again have swirled as the Three Stripes move to re-establish their footing in the industry. The termination of Yeezy back in October 2022 left adidas with $500 million dollars worth of Yeezy inventory sitting in warehouses, resulting in adidas lowering their expected revenue for 2023 by around $1.29 billion due to the fallout.

According to Yeezy Mafia, the partnership will only sell the remaining Yeezy inventory, and a part of the proceeds will go to charitable international organisations. Ye will also get a 15% commission on all remaining Yeezy products.

‘What we are trying to do over time is to sell parts of these goods and then donate to organisations that help us, and that also have been hurt by Kanye’s statements,’ stated adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden at an annual shareholder meeting on Thursday ( Bloomberg).
