Having only through Yeezy Supply and a handful of adidas accounts worldwide, the was at one stage considered one of    collaborations. On the secondary market that meant big money: the striped colourway commanded prices in the thousands.

However, supply and demand obviously dictates market price and the  caused resale prices to plummet (much to the dismay of those who'd spent mega dollars adding the coveted colourway to their collection). Having once sold for more than $3000, resale prices have fallen to around the $550 mark – little more than double the sneaker's original purchase price.

According to StockX founder Josh Luber, things are likely to get worse before they get better (depending on which side of the resale fence you sit). 'It may take a little while before it starts going up significantly, and it may even drop down a little bit more  – maybe it goes down to the mid-400s, but over time it’ll go back up,' Luber states.

Those stockpiling Kanye's retro-inspired colab, don't bet your house on those ones accruing crazy value; Lucas suggest the shoe's unlikely to follow the Zebra's trend: 'It’s a completely different shoe. It’s a shoe that is selling probably as much as any Yeezy 350 has ever sold, in terms of volume.'
