First Look at the adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 'Beluga 3.0'
Since Kanye West and adidas' Yeezy line revealed the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 almost six years ago, we've seen dozens of new colourways come to shelves. However, Yeezy acolytes still have a special place in their hearts for the 350 V2's 'Beluga' colour scheme, a palette that the model debuted with thanks to November 2016's Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 'Beluga.' Now, the 'Beluga' is getting an update for 2022 thanks to a new 350 V2 that's been dubbed the 'Beluga 3.0.'
Revealed by @prvt.selection, the 'Beluga 3.0,' also dubbed the 'Dark Beluga,' is essentially a darker version of the original 'Beluga.' It swaps out the OG two-tone grey shade for a much darker two-tone grey makeup that retains the solar red, 'SPLY-350'-branded midfoot stripe of its predecessor while also dimming the hues of the midsole and outsole a few shades. Just like the original pair, it does away with heel tabs and boasts flecked laces. Though this can't be confirmed as there's no direct top-down shot, the 'Beluga 3.0' is likely constructed partially of recycled materials in the same manner that other recent 350 V2s are.
The adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 'Beluga 3.0' doesn't have an exact release date yet, but it's set to drop later in 2022, following in the footsteps of 2021's Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 'Beluga Reflective,' 2017's Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 'Beluga 2.0,' and, of course, the original 2016 pair. When it does hit shelves, it'll be priced at $230.
