The adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Appears in 'Fade Salt'
Among the many models in Kanye West and adidas' expansive Yeezy line, the Yeezy 700 V3 sits in a class of its own. It's a lot sleeker than its duo of blocky predecessors – the Yeezy BOOST 700 and Yeezy BOOST 700 V2 – it doesn't use BOOST cushioning like so many other Yeezy models do and it's released much more sporadically than omnipresent styles like the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 or the Yeezy Foam Runner. Now we know we'll be seeing at least one more colourway of the every-so-often sneaker in 2022 though, as early pair purveyor @sneakertigger has shown off a new 'Fade Salt' colourway.
A tastefully seasoned salt 'n' pepper colourway that blends black, grey and white shades, the 'Fade Salt' gives off an air of speed with the stripes on its tri-colour middle layer. These are overlaid by a partially translucent TPU exoskeleton plus an abrasion-resistant rubber toe overlay and sit on the outside of a sock-like grey neoprene base. Below, their sharply-shaped midsole is made of EVA foam for comfort, and cut-outs in the outsole show small orange details. In short, these are the most futuristic dad shoes you'll ever lay eyes on!
At the time of writing, a release date for the adidas Yeezy 700 v3 'Fade Salt' has yet to be announced. However, it's supposed to touch down sometime in September and will retail for $210.
Elsewhere in the endlessly busy world of Kanye West, he's trying to trademark 'YZYSPLY' and earned a spot on our most influential people of 2022 so far list.
