Up Close with the adidas Yeezy 450 'Black Resin' Sample
What do you get when two zany, brilliant minds like and the artist formerly known as come together? You get unparalleled releases like the . One of the line's most striking products thanks to its spiked midsole and knit upper – a combo that's received comparisons to everything from soup dumplings to fangs – the 450 has already rolled out in , and colourways, but now it's set to take a break from tonal makeups thanks to the 'Black Resin'.
An early production sample revealed by lion-tattooed sneaker leaker , the 'Black Resin' is unique in more ways than one – it's the first Yeezy 450 with a two-tone colour scheme, and it's also the first with a gum sole! Its black EVA midsole serves up quite a striking contrast with the tan Primeknit upper, and the gum sole serves a hidden dash of classic flair.
The final style may differ from the pictures above (as we said, it is indeed a sample pair) but if the 'Black Resin' does indeed see a retail release it'll retail for $200. If you're in doubt, go a half-size up: the Yeezy 450 tends to fit a little snug!
