adidas Warns Customers of a Data Breach Potentially Affecting Millions

An ‘unauthorised party’ gained access to ’ website in June, putting millions of customers at risk of data exposure.

A spokesperson for adidas confirmed that the breach had likely affected ‘a few million’ customers operating from their US website. Personal details including contact information, encrypted passwords and usernames are thought to have been compromised. According to preliminary investigations, credit card information remains secure.

The Three Stripes are now in the process of conducting a forensic review in order to notify those affected by the breach.
