Want to look like you’re training for a marathon without putting in the work? adidas have got you, as they’re dropping a pre-distressed and beat-up colourway of the UltraBOOST Light later this year.

Pre-distressing and ageing sneakers aren’t anything new, notably done by fashion houses like Maison Margiela and Balenciaga, and the Three Stripes are bringing the same look to their flagship running sneaker. The white and grey Primeknit upper features a marbled pattern that makes the upper look like they’re scuffed straight out of the box. adi branding is found on the external cage and tongue tag with UltraBOOST branding embossed on the TPU heel counter. The beefy Light BOOST midsole looks like you’ve put the road work in, as scuffs and marks surround the plush midsole, and a Continental Better rubber outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The adidas UltraBOOST Light is expected to drop in the near future via adidas’ channels and at select retailers for $190. Check out the photos above and in the meantime, go out for a run and put some battle scars on your sneakers – they're meant to be worn!
