Things are looking up for the future of footwear with the announcement of adidas win at Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards 2017. Using third-party printing technology, the  have created a new kind of sneaker sole with the potential to change up the current manufacturing process. The biggest positive of the win, in our minds, is that it reinforces the need for adidas to make the tech available to the public. As yet, the shoe only exists in a lucky few wardrobes around the world – but it should go without saying that people are itching to get their hands on a pair of their own.
