Swiss EDC brand Victorinox are teaming up with adidas to release a collaborative EQT Support 93 inspired by the iconic Swiss Army knife. Like the versatile knives that Victorinox have been manufacturing for over 100 years, these sneakers are also upgraded with some utilitarian features to ensure they’re ready for any situation.

The EQT Support 93 is a fan favourite among adi heads for its sporty design and layered aesthetic. Given how much is crammed into a little Swiss Army knife, Victorinox have somehow thrown everything but the kitchen sink onto their collaboration while remaining fairly simple.

Starting with the materials, there’s a mix of red and grey suede, leather, mesh, and nylon – all pretty standard fare for EQTs – but reflective elements also subtly enter the fray. The design’s distinct external heel counter that wraps into the medial is finished with an interesting translucent smoke effect. Lace toggles keep things in place, working in tandem with an elastic tongue loop.

This very Victorinox colourway is locked down by logo placements on the tongue and a Swiss Army knife motif on the heel, plus the shoes are packaged with a little pouch to, for some reason, store said knife on-foot if desired. The colab is sold in co-branded boxes and stickers are included.

The Victorinox x adidas EQT 93 is coming later this year.
