The adidas Samba craze continues to shoot to stratospheric heights thanks to ongoing restocks of the hyped OG colourways – and it certainly shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Another Wales Bonner x adidas collaboration has been slated for later this year, plus adidas x Gucci are adding an element of luxury to the Gazelle. A bunch of other slimline sneakers have been swept up, too, namely the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, which has seen a resurgence in popularity over the past year.

The next generation is largely yet to cotton on to one of adidas’ OG hype institutions: the City Series. With each sneaker paying love to a different city, often one with significant ties to football culture, this series is the ultimate homage to adidas’ influential lineage.

adidas’ Dublin terrace classic first arrived in 1976 and has been revered by many in the sneakersphere as the most coveted City Series release ever created. Staying true to its 70s roots, the pairs are complete with deep blue suede uppers, solar red Stripes and heel tabs atop thin gum soles.
